BLX Golden Gordo

2005 AQHA red roan gelding 15.3+ hh.

Gordo has been late to mature, growing a 1/2" over winter so is just beginning to fill out.

Responsive, soft to cues & a smooth walk, he's a joy to ride & work cattle on or helpful partner for starting young horses. A super easy lope makes him my pick for covering country. Very cowy & tries hard to please, he likes to be told he's done a good job & will work for praise.

So friendly that his nickname with our family is "Happy". Wants to please disposition, if you want a buddy & working horse together you will love him.

Exceptional Ranch gelding; Working horse & best buddy in one. Gentle enough for youth, & wonderful lady's horse. Drug calves to the branding fire, sorted on, he watches cattle, ponies colts, great on gates, water, & tracks better than I can rope. Anne's favorite horse to gather on, he is cowy, fun to ride and smooth to sit on for a long day & many miles. Big easy canter, Kind, willing, wants to please, our whole family loves him. 15.3 1/2h but very easy to get on, he will pick you up off a fence, stump or whatever. works colts in the round-pen with a rope, rides soft. We've owned several brothers to this gelding's sire & they've all been great minded horses. GENTLE...always. Loved people since he was a baby, no bad habits, never been spoiled. Turn him our or saddle him up bad weather, he rides right off every time.
